About

The Housing and Community Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines and reviews matters related to the Cabinet Portfolios for Housing & Property Services. It scrutinises services including HRA Housing Management, Housing Needs and Allocations, Private Sector Housing, Homeless Prevention, and Safe Homes. The committee also monitors the performance of council services, including those delivered by external organisations. It has an overview and scrutiny role, and can also contribute to policy development.
