RESOLVED that Cabinet –

         

(a)      had considered the content of the
accompanying Contract Variation Report (Appendix 1 to the report), and

 

(b)      approves an extension to the contract for the reasons given as set out
in the report, i.e., the brevity and uncertainty of contract period, best use
of resources and the degree of confidence that the terms offered by the
supplier offer value for money.
