Purpose
The change in
delivery approach of Phase 1 of the enabling works at the Former North Wales
Hospital (FNWH) Project as part of the Levelling Up Fund (LUF) Vale of Clwyd
(VoC) Programme.
Content
To agree to spend
LUF funding on the project whilst the Council still own the site which is a
slight change to one of the conditions referred to in a previous Cabinet report
in January 2025 and to conform that the LUF funding for this project will be
awarded in accordance with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules.
Reasons for the decision
To agree to spend
LUF funding on the project whilst DCC own the site which is a slight change to
one of the conditions referred to in a previous Cabinet report in January 2025.
The need for an urgent decision has
led to this being a Lead Member Delegated Decision as opposed to taking it back
to Cabinet in September.
To confirm that all
LUF funding will be awarded in accordance with the Council’s Contract Procedure
Rules.
To provide an
update on the FNWH project.
