Purpose

To consider and
approve the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Derbyshire
(including the City of Derby).
 

Decision

RESOLVED
to:
 

1)     
Note the approach taken to prepare the Local Nature Recovery
Strategy for Derbyshire;
 

2)     
Approve the Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Derbyshire,
enabling the Council to publish the strategy;
 

3)     
Approve the acceptance of £0.135m of new burdens
funding from the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
to support the transition from Local Nature Recovery Strategy
preparation into delivery; and
 

4)     
Delegate responsibility to the Executive Director for Place,
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Net Zero and
Environment, to be able to approve the delivery phase governance
structures of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy developed in
collaboration with partners and statutory agencies.
