RESOLVED to:
 

1)     
Note the key findings of the analysis undertaken by the
Council to enable an assessment of Local Government Reorganisation
options against the Government criteria:

 

2)     
Note the outcome of the Council debate and vote taken on 13
November 2025;

 

3)     
Agree that the preferred option to be submitted to Government
be a single unitary council for the whole of Derby and Derbyshire
area; and

 

4)     
Approve the Uniting Derbyshire Proposal document attached at
Appendix 2 to the report for submission to Government by 28
