The Cabinet Member for Business Services approved an update to the Whistleblowing Policy on 25/08/2026. The policy was amended to include sexual harassment as a protected disclosure under the Employment Rights Act 1996.

The Cabinet Member for Communities and Safety approved the continuation of the Homes for Ukraine concessionary bus pass scheme on an amended basis from 1 April 2026. Ukrainian guests will receive a bus pass for the first 12 months post arrival, with an estimated annual cost of £12,000 met from Homes for Ukraine tariff funding.

The Cabinet Member for Adult Care approved the modification of the Home Care Framework on 9 July 2026. This includes implementing a combined hourly rate for homecare providers incorporating care and travel time from 1 November 2026, and agreeing the approach to tax-free mileage uplift.

The Cabinet Member for Highways approved the procurement of technical services for highway materials testing on 18 June 2026. This includes core logging and associated testing with an expenditure of up to £0.480m for a period of three years.
