Purpose
Request permission to procure a care provider to deliver care and support in Extra Care
Decision
RESOLVED to:
1) Give approval to proceed with procurement of a CQC registered care provider to deliver the care and support needs for people living at Waltham House Extra Care Scheme in Wirksworth in line with the service model for a period of up to seven years and a maximum contract value of £2,889,432;
2) Note that the Executive Director of Adult Social Care, in consultation with the Cabinet Member, will approve any amendments to the final procurement approach arising from further legal or operational considerations; and
3) Note that approval to award will be given by the Executive Director - Adult Social Care and Health under the scheme of delegation in accordance with the Council’s Financial Regulations.
