Purpose

To seek approval to change outside body appointments following a request from the Reform UK Group.

Decision

The Cabinet Member approved with immediate effect the following changes to Outside Bodies:

a) Councillor J Hodgson be replaced by Councillor R Smith as a member of Chesterfield Canal Trust; and

b) Councillor J Hodgson be replaced by Councillor R Smith as a member of Hague Windmill Society – Trustee Board.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure that the Council has appropriate representatives on outside bodies.

No alternative options have been considered as the appointments were submitted as appropriate by the relevant political group.
