To approve the confirmation of an immediate
Article 4 Direction (“the Order”) which was made on 24
July 2024 and which removes permitted development rights related to
the demolition of
buildings at the former Balby Board School, sited at the junction
of Sandford Road and Balby Road, Balby. The rights to be removed
are set out in Schedule 2, Part 11, Class B of the Town and Country
Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as
amended) (“the GPDO”). The Order is made under Article
4(1) of the GPDO. The procedures for Article 4 Directions are set
out in Schedule 3 of the GPDO.

A copy of the made Order and map are included at Appendix 1 to this
report.
