To approve the confirmation of an immediate
Article 4 Direction (“the Order”) which was made on 25
July 2024 which cancelled the previously made Article 4 Direction
which came into effect in June 2023 and was confirmed in September
2023, which removed permitted development rights related to the
demolition of buildings at Doncaster Sheffield Airport
(“DSA”) as shown on the map in Appendix 1. This will
mean that demolition of buildings at the airport are subject again
to Class B Part 11 of Schedule 2 to the General Permitted
Development Order (“GPDO”), which means demolition of
airport buildings can occur under permitted development rights once
again.
