Full council record
Purpose

Accepting the Rough Sleeping Winter Pressures
funding from the MHCLG will enable Doncaster to increase its impact
in supporting vulnerable people sleeping rough, or at risk of
sleeping rough over the winter months. In line with the purpose of
the funding, it will enable the provision of off the street
accommodation, including sit up services - short term communal
settings - to meet immediate pressures and prevent people sleeping
on the streets for the remainder of 2024/25.

Content

To accept additional Rough Sleeping Winter
Pressures funding of £22,807 from the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) in 2024/25, which is
directed to local
authorities facing the highest rough sleeping pressures. The
funding will paid by the Council to St Leger Homes to be used to
meet the costs of the winter plan.
