Purpose
Within the swimming pool support fund (SPSF)
grant of £344,975 for install of PV and new boilers at Dearne
Valley Leisure Centre there is a requirement for CDC to install at
own cost metering and monitoring system to efficiently manage the
energy usage and provide automated readings as part of the ongoing
grant reporting.
As part of the costing of works it has been identified that CDC
will be required to cover a cost of £34,962 for install of
the equipment and system. By providing the monies to install
Metering and monitoring equipment it will ensure that we are able
to access the grant enabling Dearne Valley leisure Centre to reduce
its carbon footprint and
its ongoing energy costs.
