To dispose of 8No surplus Mechan jacks and
bogie press to xxxxxx for the sum of xxxxxxx . xxxxxxx will be
responsible for removing the equipment and transportation to their
premises.

Alternative options considered

CDC has dedicated several months to searching
for potential buyers, including museums and railway enthusiasts,
who might be interested in acquiring the carriages and associated
equipment that has come into our possession. Unfortunately, these
efforts did not yield any successful outcomes. Given the pressing
deadlines set by Network Rail to vacate the section of the building
where the equipment is located, a financial offer to re-acquire
equipment put forward by xxxxxxxxxx is the preferred (and only
existing) route available to the Council.
