Purpose

The decision has been made to make
improvements to the park as this is a popular location within the
Bentley Ward and given how important Bentley Park is within the
community. It is a safe space and is vital place for people to use
during the summer Months.
Bentley Park has a high footfall and is an important part of the
Community in Bentley. Works planned included
Delivery by sea.
- Sea - £1870.00 (estimated 60days)
Option 1 – normal black column.
£8660.00 + delivery
Total Cost - £10,530
The solar lights are to be installed on the path outside of the
back of the Bentley pavilion near the Bowls Green.
- The extra contingency cost that is £470 just to cover if
there is anything additional.
Works are to be carried out by Directorate of Economy

To use the available £11,000 on
improvements to the park within the ward. This will consist of
Solar Lighting being installed within the park.

Alternative options considered

To not deliver the works. If solar Lighting is
not installed there would be less anti- vandalism provisions in
place and further anti-social behaviours could continue to happen
within the park which could lead to damage and costs.
