Purpose

The allocation funding will empower Doncaster
Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT) to actively contribute to the

the healthcare sector, DCLT will be well-positioned to deliver

To allocate a total of £44,893 over a
two-year period to support Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust.
This funding will provide the necessary capacity for the Chief
Funding & Information Officer to lead the development of a
comprehensive health and wellbeing strategy, ensuring alignment
with the trust’s broader objectives and priorities.

Additionally, this investment will enable focused efforts to
advance the health and wellbeing agenda, fostering collaboration
with the trust's internal teams and external partners to drive
meaningful impact across the wider community.

Alternative options considered

Not to allocate funding will limit Doncaster
Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT) in fully leveraging capital
investments and other financial sources, thereby diminishing its
ability to deliver optimal impact on the health and wellbeing of
Doncaster residents. Without this financial support, DCLT may face
challenges in effectively integrating its contributions within the
healthcare system, ultimately reducing its capacity to foster
meaningful improvements in community wellbeing.
