Purpose

The existing heating systems across the
properties rely on outdated stored hot water cylinders, which are
prone to heat loss. These systems contribute to higher energy bills
for tenants and fall short of modern energy performance
standards.

The approved grant fund will enable the replacement of these
systems with smart instantaneous heating and hot water units which
will improve energy efficiency without reducing performance.

This investment will modernise the housing stock and deliver a more
cost-effective heating and hot water solution for our
customers.

To accept / drawdown £1.692m
(£1.410m exc Vat) of Heat Network Efficiency Scheme Funding
(HNES) from the Secretary of State for Energy Security & Net
Zero.

To enter the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in respect of the
above HNES Funding

To appoint an external contractor to carry out the works.
