Purpose

The grant will be used to furnish the new
Wheatley Youth Hub and refurbishment spaces within Bentley MyPlace.
By utilising the grant, we will reduce pressure on our own council
funding and see continued investment in our new and existing youth
spaces.
Through the purchase of the vehicle, and our outreach teams we will
be able to reach young people in communities that have very little
youth provision or “hub” provision; as well as reaching
those young people who may in areas that have limited transport
options. This will
ensure all young people have access to our youth offer and it is
not postcode dependent.

This funding will also provide investment in our buildings to
ensure they are of high quality and provide young people with a
range of equipment and opportunities when they are accessing our
youth spaces.
