Purpose

The Education & Skills Strategy 2030
identified as a priority - Accelerating Achievement, one of the
challenges to accelerating achievement was ‘A low percentage
of schools rated either Good or Outstanding, and difficulties in
recruiting and retaining teachers’. The strategy identified
its aim in overcoming this would be
to ‘Nurture an outstanding Educational Workforce’
The need for CPD style support and assistance was recognised and
the project put in place as a means of achieving this.

Content

To allocate a budget of £33,600 from the
Education & Skills 2030 budget to (PIC project number 00113)
Doncaster Educational Leadership Programme.
