Purpose
The decision to fund 2 trainee Well Doncaster
Apprentice to continue to build our local people to lead on work
with and for our residents.
We want to continue to lead on how assets that the community are
rightfully proud of, embeds long-term thinking and is evidenced
based to ensure meaningful change to people and place.
Our focus is on intergenerational building, to tie a current
disconnect between young people and older people. Collectively, the
community will support generations to grow, live and thrive
together and families will be able to afford and access the
fundamentals for a good, happy life. This will build the conditions
for people to live in a community conducive to good mental health
and allow for the building blocks to reduce local health
inequalities.
Reason for decision:
The funding will come from the underspend of the Clinical
Extremally Vulnerable monies, the approach highlights how the Well
Doncaster officer role can support community cohesion, community
investment and therefore enables the VFCS to understand the needs
of our most vulnerable.
