Purpose

This report is to seek approval to use
£117,000 of Section 106 monies for Finningley Enhancement
Schemes, to be taken from planning reference (15/02091/FULM) Land
on the Southwest Side of St Oswalds Drive Finningley. The proposal
is to make a grant of £117,000 to Finningley Parish Council
under a formal funding agreement.
The scheme will be managed by City of Doncaster Council, with the
Council’s Flood Risk Management team responsible for the
design, contract/tender process, scheme management and payment of
all invoices to contractors/suppliers. Through consultation with
the flood team, it is envisaged that the scheme can be delivered
within budget and this includes a 10% contingency.
