Purpose

The Mayor and Full Council declared a
Climate
• the delivery of the Queens Green Canopy project (over 20,000
trees planted in 45 schools);
• evaluation of the Council’s naturalisation
project;
• management and delivery of BuyDoncaster Environment
• management of the Council’s 44 Allotment sites;
• delivery of the Council’s Carbon Literacy training
programme
The post holders are now preparing to bid for external funds to
extend or develop new projects to deliver further outcomes for
carbon reduction, nature protection and nature recovery.
