Purpose

Rather than being a single discrete service
itself, the Dementia Diagnostic Pathway is a collection of
contributing dementia services commissioned for the region through
an accountable care partnership of which the Council is part.

The funding is provided to SYICB under Section 76 Agreement which
regulates what the funding must be spent on and the Council's role
in SYICBs Contract Monitoring of the provider making
space.

To approve the continuation of the financial
arrangements for the provision of the Dementia Post Diagnostic
Pathway through the payment of £160,397 to SYICB via a
Section 76 Agreement for a period of 6 months from 1 April 2023 to
30 September 2023 in order to facilitate the continued delivery of
Dementia Services by Making Space.
