There is a statutory requirement to publish a
Post 16 Transport Policy Statement by 31st May each year. The
Statement must also be the subject of a consultation prior to any
proposed changes and publication annually. Consultation took place
between
December 2022 and 28 February 2023, with no comments being
received

Therefore, there are no changes proposed to the 2023/24 Policy
Statement and this will only contain updates to the names of
various bus passes, which are now offered by South Yorkshire
Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Any information from and links
to additional websites has also been updated. These updates have
been made to the draft policy and a copy is attached for
information. Approval is now required to publish the policy in May
2023 in
accordance with the statutory requirement
