Purpose

The Elected Members Ward Budget is included
the 2022/23 Revenue Budget. Within this allocation each elected
Member is allocated up to £3k (£165k in total across
all 55 elected Members) to support local groups and
organisations.

Approval of Applications
a. Holmescarr Ark and Crafts

Cost: £400.00 (£133.33 x 3 Councillors)

The grant funding will provide one hour of time available from a
counsellor to assist people with coping with new disadvantage, and
offering well-being support.
b. Bawtry Community Library

Cost: £500.00 (£166.66 x 3 Councillors)

Funding will provide those customers that use the library
specifically as a warm hub with refreshments - tea/coffee and
biscuits.

Funding will support the additional heating costs when the Church
hall is being used as a warm space for the most vulnerable through
the winter months.

The funding will purchase an air curtain which will help to reduce
the loss of heat from the building.
e. Adwick Detachment Army Cadet Force

The grant funding will be used to purchase key equipment items such
as sleeping bags, roll mats and mess tins that the cadets will
require to go on camp that they can take from stores.

The grant funding will be used to purchase an Helsinki leather sofa
to enhance and help develop a children’s Social Club
‘Cosy Café Corner’ for the Doncaster Deaf
Community at the Deaf Community Centre for age group 11-18
years.
