Content

Decision to allow CDC to enter into a contract
with the new IMS supplier IDOX following a tender process and agree
to draw down of funds of £******* capital funding approved by
CAMP board on 25th September 2023 to increase the existing
£***** allocation for the Information Management System
software for Regulation & Enforcement.

To approve a further capital allocation of £******* from the
24/25 capital contingency budget to fund the shortfall in funding
identified after system specification and procurement.

Alternative options considered

Failure to extend the existing NEC contract by
24 months will not provide sufficient time to complete the
implementation of the new IDOX IMS solution.

Staying with the existing NEC solution provider risks failing to
receive the necessary support for the ASSURE system, with the
legacy M3 solution ceasing to be technically supported and kept up
to date for changes in legislative and enforcement
requirements.

Without the new IDOX contract in place to provide an IMS solution,
Regulation & Enforcement will be unable to undertake its
business-as-usual activities.
