Purpose

To enable the delivery of three women’s
health and wellbeing projects with a focus on women experiencing
health inequities.

Content

To accept funding from South Yorkshire ICB to
enable delivery of Women’s Hub projects with SYICB over a
period March 2024 to December 2024.

The funding will be used to deliver a range of activities (listed
below) working with VCFS and existing services to provide enhanced
services to women have poorer health outcomes:

Project 1. Amber Project - To align and expand a sexual health
drop-in service for sex workers, building on existing trusted
relationships and ways of working.

Project 2. Gypsy Roma and Traveller Communities – to provide
a mobile women’s health hub through the health bus to
GRT
communities living in 4 sites in Doncaster

Project 3. Changing lives - Health and wellbeing a drop in clinic
for women living in more deprived communities

Each project will focus to early intervention and prevention,
including access to sexual health, NHS health checks, cancer
screening and dentistry and will build in navigation support and
confidence to
access mainstream services.

TOTAL - Public Health to receive for delivery and coordination -
£98k
