To approve xxxxxxxxxx to be used from the
Revenue Contribution to the Capital Programme Reserve to fund
letting agents’ fees and legal fees on the lettings of the
remaining CCQ restaurant units.

Alternative options considered

The leisure based letting agents have the
necessary local, regional and national contacts for promoting the
scheme. They provide specialist advice on the terms for the
lettings and with their
marketing, the Council can be sure that it is achieving best value
on the deals secured. It is therefore necessary to continue to
retain the agents on the scheme.

The solicitors that are being used on the scheme are delivering the
Council’s requirements for the legal documentation and ensure
a consistent approach across the portfolio. It is therefore the
preferred option that the Council continue to use the same
solicitors.

As such, there are no preferred alternative options.
