About

The Audit and Governance Committee provides independent assurance on the Council's risk management, internal control, and financial reporting. It promotes and helps maintain high standards of conduct for councillors and appointed representatives. The committee recommends training on conduct standards, considers allegations of breaches of the Members Code of Conduct, and supports the Monitoring Officer in their duties.
