About
The Harbours Advisory Committee provides advice to the Portfolio Holder for Highways, Travel and Environment on the Council's functions as a harbour authority, as defined by the Harbours Act 1964 and other local legislation. It focuses on operational issues for the harbour and can advise the Executive (Cabinet) on income and expenditure matters related to the harbours under its responsibility. This committee replaced the former Harbours Committee in 2022.
