Purpose

To seek authority to procure corporate
contracts for asbestos services. The contracts will be available to
all council departments in line with the existing asbestos
contracts currently in place.
 
This will provide a flexible service, which by
making use of economies of scale will yield value for money and
consistency of price, an improved quality to clients and service to
residents with added social value benefits whilst assisting the
council to facilitate its responsibilities under Control of
Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012.
