Purpose
This report seeks approval in
relation to the collaborative commissioning of a new contract with
Harrow and Brent councils, as the Outer Northwest London (ONWL)
sub-region of the London Sexual Health Programme for the provision
of open access, mandated, Integrated Sexual Health
Services.
Prevention is key within the
Integrated Sexual Health Services delivery model, embedded within
clinical and community provision. It will address key public health
needs and priorities in improving residents’ health, tackling
health inequalities, reducing stigma and improving access for those
in greatest need.
The proposal supports the
council to meet its Public Health statutory requirements for access
to sexual health and contraception service access.
