Purpose

This report outlines the next steps for
progressing the stalled council’s development site, which
will deliver much-needed affordable homes, following Ealing
Council’s (the council) repossession of the site on 20
February 2025. The scope of works includes the removal and disposal
of all redundant materials, plant, and equipment currently on site,
ensuring the area is safe, secure, accessible for prospective
contractors and addresses areas that prospective contractors
tendering for the main works contract might perceive as areas of
risk, which when priced could adversely affect the financial
viability of the scheme and lead to uncontrolled costs during the
construction phase.
