Transport for London (TFL) have delegated
powers under the Crossrail Act 2008. TFL originally Issued Notices
on the Council on 07/05/2013 in respect of obtaining the temporary
right to construct an emergency exit from the station into the car
park of Carmelita House, together with obtaining the permanent
right for an easement to facilitate emergency access and egress
rights for staff and passengers. A copy of this notice is detailed
within Confidential Appendix 1 - TFL Notice.

The notice period has been extended several times and is currently
due to expire on 06/05/2023. Agreement between the Freeholder, The
Council and TFL has not been reached, therefore an extension to the
Notice Period is required, to facilitate continued discussions in
this respect.
