That, the Cabinet Member for
Inclusive Economy:
 
i.               
authorised the Director ICT, IDM, & Property
Services (CIO) to invite and evaluate tenders for a Security,
Events and Supporting Cover Services Contract through a further
mini competition under ESPO Security Services Framework 347_22 Sub
Lot 9b, for 2 years plus 1 optional extension of 12 months, with an
estimated total value of £1.425m commencing in May
2024;
ii.              
delegated to the Director of ICT, IDM & Property
Services (CIO) the award of the call-off contract following the
mini competition to the most economically advantageous tender;
iii.             
authorised the Director ICT, IDM, & Property
Services subject to further consultation with the Director of Legal
and Democratic Services and Strategic Director of Resources and the
Cabinet Member consider variation of the existing contract to bring
back some of the staff under the TUPE Regulations inhouse as
salaried staff particularly the longer
term assignments, for fixed hours cover staff.
