Purpose

Recognising the need to address climate
change, air quality, and public health challenges, Ealing Council
has set bold targets for sustainable transport, environmental
protection, and public health improvement. With transport
contributing 32% of CO2 emissions in the borough and
playing a key role in improving the health and wellbeing of our
residents, reducing vehicle trips, especially those involving the
most polluting vehicles, is important. Parking fees and charges are
an important tool in achieving this, making it necessary to review
and update them regularly. 
 
This report proposes changes to three parking
products to help deliver a cleaner, safer future for Ealing and
help deliver ambitious transport, environmental and health
objectives.
