About
The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is a legally required committee of the East Midlands Combined County Authority. Its primary role is to review and scrutinise decisions and actions related to both Mayoral and Non-Mayoral Functions of the Authority. The committee can make reports and recommendations to the Combined County Authority or the Mayor on these functions, as well as on any matters affecting the Combined County Authority's area or its inhabitants. Its proceedings are governed by the Authority's Constitution and Scrutiny Standing Orders.
