Purpose

To approve the allocation of up to £1.7 million from the EMCCA Local Growth Fund to establish the East Midlands Community Energy Fund. The allocation comprises £200,000 of revenue funding in 2026/27 to procure specialist third-party support for community energy groups and £1.5 million of capital funding from 2026/27 to 2029/30 to provide grants for eligible community energy projects across the East Midlands.
