The Cabinet decided to abandon the leasing of blocks for use as temporary accommodation on 09/09/2026.

James Raven, Director of Property, approved the award of two contracts to SMI Group UK for cleaning, janitorial supplies, and PPE on 11 June 2026. Contract management for cleaning and janitorial elements will remain with FM, and PPE with Fleet Services.

The Executive Director Housing and Regeneration approved the award of the Domestic Gas Heating South Contract to T Brown Group Limited on 20 July 2026. The contract is for an initial period of 12 months with options to extend for two further 12-month periods.

Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services (Cllr Chris Dey) approved the acceptance of grant funding for the Best Start Family Hubs and Healthy Babies Programme on 23 June 2026. This includes accepting £6,596,000 from the Department for Education and Department of Health and Social Care, and £25,500 for the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Assessment Support Grant.

The Cabinet decided to approve the sale of agricultural land and the surrender of remaining land back to the Council on 09 September 2026. This decision facilitates the Enfield Chase Landscape Recovery Scheme and generates a capital receipt.
