The Leader of the Council decided on 11 September 2026 to approve the movement of £200,000 from the pipeline into the main capital programme for tree removal and replacement in 2026/2027. This funding will support tree removal and replacement on highways, with £40,000 for removal, £30,000 for management and delivery, and £130,000 for planting and aftercare.

The Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration decided on 11 September 2026 to approve the terms for a settlement agreement with Meridian Water Film Studios Limited. Authority was delegated to the Executive Director of Housing and Regeneration to finalise the agreement and any ancillary documents, and to dispose of Stages 2 and 3 of the site.
