Purpose

To award a contract for a comprehensive refresh of the Council’s network infrastructure through a competitive tender process. This project will address our legacy network architecture, moving to a distributed WAN to better support our business growth and cloud-first strategy. Providing direct, secure connectivity between sites and cloud services, improving performance, resilience, and scalability. This approach also reduces risk, enhances redundancy, and positions us to leverage modern technologies. In short, this change ensures our network is faster, more reliable, and ready for the future.
