The Leader of the Council approved the closure of the Kingsdowne Society Charity on 08 April 2026. The charity has ceased to operate, has no assets or liabilities, and will be formally wound up. The Charity Commission will be notified to remove the charity from the Register of Charities, and the Council will retain its records for six years.
