Purpose

Approval of an Action Plan prepared to comply with the direction received from the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on 15 June 2026 under Section 62A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Decision

(1)            That the Cabinet noted the progress that had been made since designation on 15 June 2026; and

(2)            That the Cabinet endorsed the Epping Forest District S62A Action Plan 2026 developed with the support of the S62A Portfolio Holder Policy Advisory Group.

(3)            That the Cabinet recommended the amended Epping Forest District S62A Action Plan be approved by Council for submission to the Government.
