Planning Committee

The Exeter City Council Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions on planning applications and related matters under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and other relevant legislation. It handles significant, controversial, or sensitive applications, those from councillors or council staff, and city council applications with objections. The committee's powers are limited to those not delegated to officers or reserved for the full Council or Executive.
