Purpose
The Shared Prosperity Fund
(SPF) is the Government’s domestic replacement for the
European Structural and Investment Programme. All areas of the UK are receiving an allocation of
SPF funding calculated by a funding formula where the funding
available to Fenland District is for SPF £279k over a
transitional one-year period 2025-26. Two SPF projects have been
approved by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority,
a continuation of the business grant scheme Investment in Business
with a budget of £220k and the Firebreak and Anti-Social
Behaviour project with a budget of £59k.
