Following the decision by the
Town Board to approve £10,000 of funding to purchase
equipment for youth community activities at the Hudson Leisure
Centre, FDC now need to release this funding from the P4N Capacity
funding.
 
Decision:
To authorise a purchase and
donation of equipment to the value of £10,000 for the Hudson
in line with Town Board direction.
 
 

Reasons for the decision

Wisbech Town Board are looking
to encourage youth activities for adolescents in Wisbech and have
determined to grant the Hudson £10,000 of capacity funding to
begin setting up for these activities through purchase of
equipment.
 
This will also act as a test of
investments in the community asset ahead of future planned
investment as part of the 4-year investment plan, whilst also
engaging a demographic which the Town Board aims to consult with on
the Regeneration Plan.
