Purpose

To consider and agree the
acceptance of first stage capital funding provided by Defra for the
implementation of weekly domestic food waste collections from March
2026.
 
To highlight that at present we
cannot confirm if the formula Defra is using to calculate this
transitional funding will be sufficient to cover all the costs
incurred.
