Award a 12-month extension to the agreed current contract that
was procured in April 2024 at the cost of £61,080.
 
Decision:
To award a 12-month extension
to Goss Interactive Ltd to provide website software, hosting,
support and maintenance.

Reasons for the decision

The Council’s current
website contract ends in March 2026 and needs to be renewed to
ensure business continuity. As part of the contract that was
procured in April 2024, we have an option to extend for an
additional 12 months. Renewing this contract offers the council
continued value for money and continuity of service.

Alternative options considered

No alternative options were
considered because we are happy with the current supplier and we
have the option to extend the contract for an additional 12 months.
