To approve the CCTV maintenance
contract award that has recently been through a joint procurement
process between Fenland District Council and Peterborough City
Council. Led by PCC procurement, a full tender process has been
completed in 2024, and a successful contractor, Synectics Security Group Ltd, was successful in
being awarded the contract for both Peterborough City Council and
Fenland District Council CCTV services.
The contract commences from
3rd January 2025, under a five-year term, until 3rd
January 2030, with an option of a 2-year extension on a yearly
increment scale.
The maintenance contract, and
services provided within this contract, are critical to ensure the
CCTV services operates on a 24/7 basis and is maintained to quality
standards required and allowing the council to meet its obligations
to agreed Service Level Agreements, and wider council
objectives.
It is requested that the
maintenance contract award is approved by FDC, after the full and
successful completion of a joint procurement process being
completed by FDC and PCC.
 
Decision:
To approve the decision reached
from the joint procurement process for CCTV maintenance services
and award the CCTV maintenance contract to Synectics Security Group Ltd, for a 5-year term,
with a possible two-year extension, as from 3rd of
January 2025.
