Purpose

To seek
Members’ approval and endorsement for the sites that have
been identified by the Early Years and Family Support Service
Capital Team, and for the pre-construction early screening work of
the proposed sites to begin, in-order for funding to be secured
through the submission of Business Justification Cases to the Welsh
Government.

Content

(a)       That
the Committee supported the identified capital sites in Flintshire
for the purpose of securing the Welsh Government Childcare and
Early Years Capital Grant 2025-2028 (phase 3); and
 

(b)       That
The Committee supported the early screening, pre-construction work
and the submission of Business Justification Cases to Welsh
Government for the proposed sites.
