Purpose

To provide information on the Joint Adults and
Children’s Safeguarding provision within the county
boundaries and to provide an update on the recent Internal Audit
regarding Deprivation of Liberty processes with the service.

Content

(a)      
That Cabinet accepts the report as relevant information in relation
to Flintshire Safeguarding for the period 1st April 2024 to 31st
March 2025 and additional information provided;
 
(b)       That Cabinet take
due regard to the variety of activity across the Safeguarding
Unit and the continuing development and improvement
in service provision;
 
(c)        That Cabinet
is satisfied that the Safeguarding Process for Adults and Children
in Flintshire is robust; and
 
(d)      
That Cabinet is satisfied that the actions taken following the
recent internal audit of the DoLS
process have addressed the audit findings.
